My 8 week old DD has crusty, flaky skin around and above her eyebrows. It's been there since birth, but has been getting progressively worse. Any ideas what it could be? It's been getting colder and drier since she was born (we live in the southern hemisphere) - so could it just be dry skin?

Should I be applying anything topically to it?

It's probably cradle cap - check behind her ears for it, too. Apply a little evoo, let sit for a few minutes, and wipe off with a wash cloth.

Congrats on the new babe!

Yep, oil works wonders. We used rosehip seed oil, apricot kernel oil and sometimes jojoba oil. They all cleared up dry skin bouts very quickly.

Thanks mamas. I'll try the oil after she wakes up.

some exzema starts off with crusty eyebrows. Moisturize with a thick cream, we like weleda baby cream, frequently. Be sure to do so within a few minutes of a bath especially.
