My brain is tired. I was up too late last night.

Somebody in this Waldorf forum has photos of their play area set up with I *think* cubby shelves from Michaels craft store - and I think some had baskets in them. I want to do something similar, but I want to take a look at the photo's again before I get started. Can anyone direct me to the right place?

Those weren't what I was originally thinking about...but I'm going to have to take a look at them when I get to the store. They might just work.

we have two on these, each turned on it's side. we use half baskets and tall/full size baskets, leave a block open for the kids to crawl through and like the top for nature table sort of space.

we have our books lined up in here and other toys, as well. they work great!

We bought some of the Closet Maid ones. Although these are not solid wood, they are actually sturdier than some of Michael's wood units:

Those are the ones I was going to copy-cat too! I actually got one of the cubbies, then I repurposed it and got the stackable bins instead. But yes, super cute way to store toys and make the farm easilly accessible for little ones!!

I also just found a local unfinished wood furniture store with cubbies with different numbers of cubbies (1, 2, 3, 4, and 6). They were even cheaper than the ones at Michael's with the coupon. Perhaps you have an option like that near you.
