If you have tried Cuddlebuns tell me what you like or dislike about them. I am seriously considering buying one to try.

Dh says they fit our high rised dd the best of any dipe. *I* don't like the drying time.
It does have a nice high rise which is nice on my DS but for some reason I never reach for mine very often and I can't tell you why.
I have a stash of 18 bikini-cut CuddleBuns from Little-Fishey, and they are our primary daytime fitted. I
'em! They are trim. They are simple. Mine came with cute print outers and lined in OV. No matter what size my daughter is, they fit.

I think you can order them with external soakers to decrease drying time if that is an issue!
I'm not sure you can get them with the external soakers, but if you could that would certainly help with the insanely long drying time. I use these for overnight (though most people say that they're not absorbant enough, mine aren't even saturated in the morning). I love the way they fit between Timmy's legs (bikini cut) but they're too bulky in the front when you have to fold down the top for a smaller kiddo. My son is 6 months old and he will probably be at least a year old before I can stop folding the top down(granted, my son is rather small at 12 lb 8 oz at 6 mo). Because the rise is so high on ds, I haven't found a pul cover that fits properly over these for him, but my wool works great, and they're fantastic under a soaker. All in all, I really like these dipes, but they're definately not trim for a younger/smaller baby!

I use my LF CB at night. They have hemp soaker and OV lining. Depending, its soaked but no leaks.
What do I like :- fit is amazing from newborn to potty training
- readily available from many different sources
- easy to use
- option of having a snap-in doubler (not QD, just extra absorbancy) for heavier wetters
- reasonably priced
- the variety available in terms of materials and prints

What do I dislike :
- internal soaker bunches up because it's only secured in the centre
- the knit outers fall apart (for me - but I'm haunted by diapering demons galore)
- wing droop
- drying time is akin to forever

The soaker pad on CuddleBuns are secured down the middle AND along both sides. On the inside of your diaper you should see three rows of stitching, one being a twin stitch or triple zig zag, the other two being straight stitches (I don't know of anyone that zig zags them in). If your soaker is only secured to the center and not at the sides, then your diapers were not made correctly. I suppose there is a chance they are secured to the hidden layer, but I'm pretty confident that is incorrect too, you make me want to dig up directions even though I haven't read them in ages!!

To avoid wing droop, you need to make sure you are snugging the waist up enough. I also usually pull the end of the front panel "wing" up some, so that it is above the row of snaps and that helps to keep it from drooping. Haven't had wing droop since we figured that out.

I'm sorry about your outers, mine are wearing too but I was drying on high heat (naughty me) AND out of a stash of almost two dozen CB & 8 Very Baby, there are maybe 12 CB that we use all the time (the bikini ones, not so loving the traditional cut) and so they get washed all the time and obviously will wear faster. Our all hemp stretch knit terry diaper is holding up the best by far.

As for QD soakers, that has not been allowed but things in diaperland have changed so much since the pattern was released and licensing started that maybe that can be changed. I prefer my diapers with internal soakers, nothing to futz around with lol, but I know a lot of people wish they would dry quicker. Snaps are not allowed to be added to the back of the diaper since babies are recommended to sleep on their backs.

Disclaimer: I don't make the rules, I just follow them lol. And if I got anything wrong I apologize!

I love the fit of my cb's, I have 2 and they get used as soon as they are washed, along with my Harleyz. I hate that they take so long to dry tho. For that reason I would go all pockets if I didn't love the fit of my bikini cut cb's so well.

I also love that they are super soft, inside adn out and come in such cute prints.
