i'm really fed up with my persistant atheletes foot its now gone into the toe nails its only on my left foot and it really is horrible and my foot is so itchy and skin peeling off. i have a very healthy diet basically TF and grain free, dairy free, sugar free, refined carbs free and i take probiotics. so i can't see what else i can do diet wise. i just really need to treat this topically. i've been trying to find cures apparantly oregano oil can cure it if applied topically. i don't really want to take anything internally because i'm nursing but does anyone know if this is safe to use topically while nursing?
also i just found out about a cure that is a fungus that can eat the atheletes foot fungus its called pythium oligandrum its applied topically in silica and it eats the fungus, but i don't know anyone who's tried it.
anyone know how i can get rid of this persistant fungal infection for good safely while nursing?

Have you ever tried white vinegar? Put some in a spray bottle and spray your feet a couple of times a day or soak a cotton ball in vinegar and wipe your feet with it. It's always worked great on athletes foot for my husband and I. And, I used it to get rid of a toenail fungus once, too.

thanks for your repliy, no i've never tried white vinegar does it have to be white or do you think any other type will do? i have raw cider vinegar in the house right now, but i'll get some white if it has to be that. wow its encouraging to here that it got rid of the toe nail fungus because that seems to be a really difficult thing to get rid of. thanks for the suggestion.

we use hydrogen peroxide at our home to cure all kinds of stuff. never had athlete's foot or nail fungus, but my guess is soaking your feet (say 10 minutes 2x a day or similar) in 50% peroxide 50% water solution would work!

that's what I'd do at least.
here's more info on peroxide cures.

I read an article in our local paper about DMSO solution on top of any antifungal essential oil-oregano,tea tree ,thyme --it drives the oil into the nail--does not seem to bother my skin-
the DMSO was at the health food store -like $10 .
I have been doing it one time at night -using thyme or tea tree oil -then the DMSO -then going to bed .
Do a search on google or whatever -the yeast cure is mentioned -beer yeast I think it was -interesting!

Oh I am nursing an almost 3 year old but do not think it would do anything to a younger nursling.
