Funny you mention that. We live in Puerto Rico and I was just wondering about sand and the ds. I guess it is no different than with a little girl, but either way I'm curious. Do you soak your kids in the bath tub after going to beach?

I was drawn to the cute face too. But I get the digital copy, so I had already seen the full photo- then the paper copy came and the mailing label covered some of the photo making it seem even more like a 'cover up'.
I had been reminded of the breastfeeding issues that have been covered up, so it was just striking me as amusing/funny. And I'm learning scrapbooking so 'photoshopping' has been on my mind.

You know, having just gotten back from a week at the shore, I think the whole 'sand in the foreskin' reason for 'why people started circing' is SUCH baloney. It's a total shaggy dog story. My dds got tons of sand on and between their labia, just from sitting at the edge of the water playing in the sand, while my ds (who is almost 6 and fully retractable) didn't get a single grain of sand inside his foreskin. Because, duh, the foreskin stayed down over his glans!

Anyway, that cover reminds me that the reasons people give for why circ started are just full of hooey.
