So DH and I have been deciding on out new baby stash and we'd talked about getting some terry onesize from bella babies. However people were raving on the bamboo ones but I thought no lets keep cost low. Well then my bamboo wipes come. I love the size a little bigger and streachier than by baby terry washcloths but still "thin" enough to work well. However the marerial I just thought was okay nothing special. Then I washed them... and now they are soooo darn soft. I keep petting them. So now I wonder how worth it will the bamboo fitted be over the terry? I'm hessistant it will be at least double the amount and thats without the doublers. Is it really truly worth it or should I stick with the terry cause what I don't know wont hurt me... decession decessions...

I have both terry and bamboo diapers from Bella Bottoms. If you're looking for something that's no fuss and dries really fast, I'd stick with terry. The bamboo fitteds take longer to dry, but my son (who is 2) chooses the bamboo diapers we have over the terry every time. So I'm sure they're more comfortable. I think the bamboo ones absorb a little more, too. I use them overnight for my kids.

Maybe get some extra babmboo wipes and trifold into the diaper? Then you could save $ and still have the nice softness against baby's skin.

Ahhh THANK YOU! this does help me because yes this is very important to me. Maybe I'll stick with my orginal plan of the terry.

I have both and while I LOVED my terry ones before I had my bamboo ones...I don't even pick up the terry ones at all now. I don't notice my bamboo ones taking any longer to dry either...but I also have a FL machine and I think that helps since they aren't as wet when they go into the dryer as with a TL machine (if you have a TL machine....you could do an extra spin in it to get more water out and that would help)

What you could do is get some of the bamboo ones for nights and stick with terry ones in the day....and get some bamboo doublers for inside the terry ones...that way the nice softness is up against your baby's skin. The bamboo are more absorbant IMO and they are worth the extra $ to me....they are the fitted I pick up the most.

If you are open to using some pfs and have a sewing machine or serger, you could make your own bamboo velour pfs for a lot less.....or make some bamboo velour doublers to use inside your other dipes.....you'd be amazed at how inexpensive you could make that for.
