ITs finally over! Feels like its taken forever and a day.
But on saturday I opened my mailbox to find a letter from the judge (case was closed without a second court meeting - each lawyer sent in their papers and there was a parenting investigation done and the judge sat down and made a decision) stating that I won costudy

: I did expect it, but ex had asked for IMO unreasonable visitation (2 out of 3 weekends) so I was really nervous. But I got it my way - he gets every other weekend and I finally have some peace of mind.
And life is just - really great. I feel so relieved that its all over. The kids are thriving - its a hard life for sure, but seing my kids so happy and healthy makes it all worth it.
I met a wonderful guy 5 months ago - he treats me with such respect and is the most loving, caring man I have ever met. I feel so lucky - I never thought I would get to experience this

Life is just really great these days - and it turns out leaving my ex was the hardest thing I have ever done - but also one of the most rewarding. I left almost a year ago now - and thinking back that only a year ago I was probably in the darkest place I have ever been - and now my life has turned 180 degrees - for the better and I feel better than I have in many years.
Dont know why I am writing this - I just feel so grateful and happy
