watch out mama's who put bows in their girls hair!!!!<br><br>
my 5 yr old son told me tonight that ____ _____ and _____ in his class are pretty, reaaaalllly pretty!" I couldn't help it but I started asking questions because he lately he tlls me "girls give me a headache and rolls his eyes" so he proceded to go on and on about the bows in their hair.<br><br>
He did tell me he liked my bows too, so I haven't lost him yet to the world... I don't tell him mine are scrunchies and not bows <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

Ds, who is almost 5 and in preschool is always on the look-out for a girl he can marry lately! He always says, "Mommy, can I marry you?" I explained to him several times that he couldn't, so randomly he comes home with, "Mom-I know who I can marry-Olivia from school!" Or, "Alisha from school!"<br><br>
They are so cute & fun!

All of my three year old's friends are talking about marriage lately (these are 3 & 4 year olds!) But if you ask my dd, she'll tell you "I'm not going to get married, I'm too busy!" It's the best line ever! We're wondering when/if it will change.

When I got up this morning I hurriedly pulled my hair into a sloppy bun with a scrunchie and pulled on a sweatshirt. When dd was born and ds was 5, all he wanted was a sister so he could "put a purple bow in her hair". We had a purple bow all ready for him for when she was born, and although he chickened out, many months later he sat her down and proceeded to put about 15 barettes in her hair.<br>
More recently, I put my hair into two braids. He sat down next to me and just kept looking at me and then was touching the braids, etc. He seemed really enamored with the braids and I later found out that a girl in his class always wore her hair like that and he had a crush on her.<br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment">

Ds (3 y.o.) was at a restaurant with my parents and the hostess was wearing these strappy stiletto heels. Okay, this one is involved, so bear with me. One of ds's favorite movies is the Three Amigos (thanks to dp)<br>
Yesterday he was one of the characters: Lucky Day. He was talking about his movie adventures, and I said: "So, did you fall in love with a pretty girl in Mexico?"<br>
Ds: "Yes, and a pretty girl in berkeley, too!" (we live in berkeley)<br><br>
