I was having a hard time putting ds to bed the other night. He has a favorite bear - brown bear - that he likes to sleep with. So i started to play pretend with Him and talk as though i was the bear; saying things like, i'm tired - i want to lay down...do you wanna go ninight with me etc... Then ds (2 yrs) takes the bear and says "brown bear scared!" I asked what we should do about that and with a look of 'i have the most amazing idea' beaming from his eyes, he proclamed, "brown bear NURSE!!!!"..... and the proceeded to nurse his teddy bear!

I guess they learn what they are shown!
