I'm looking for a super cute diaper bag, but the catch is I want to be able to wash it when needed. I have no doubts that if I carry a bag for 2 years it will get dirty, something will leak etc. Any WHAM's out there make one that fits this bill?

A sling bag from www.stinkbugdesigns.com I think would be washable. She only has one instock right now on her site, but sells them through UBB also https://www.naturalfamilyboutique.co...ucts/6004.aspx I know what you mean.. our bag when my babe was little was always grimey on the bottom.. no matter how much I washed it (just a normal baby bag from babies r us kind of thing) .. so go for darker colors.. a batik would ROCK as far as not showing grime. I have one from her from awhile ago.. mine isn't sling style, but I love using it! I can't belive I carried around an ugly bulky store bought dipaer bag for so long when I could have had a lovely wahm diaper bag for the same price.

I don't have a suggestion for a WAHM bag, but our Lands End diaper bag (Do it all) has held up fabulously for the past 4 years. I wash it once in a while on cold and let it air dry. It also has black mesh stuff on the bottom so it doesn't look dirty.

My friend Kari at Custom Baby Boutique makes cute diaper bags, but there isn't anything on her site about if they are washable or not. I *think* she has washed one of the ones I've seen her using. If you e-mail her I don't think you'll get a response till after the first of the year. Oh, NAYY, just a friend who thinks her bags are cute!

Some of the higher end diaper bags are machine washable on gentle (like Sally Spicer) but I have not washed any of them myself.
