I am going to a potluck and there is a child that can't eat gluten or dairy. Do you very resourceful and inventive mamas
have any ideas?

I'd do a simple casserole with beans, brown rice, and some tomatoes (canned with onion/garlic/pepper). Roasted peppers, fresh herbs, and gluten-free chipotle sauce (harder to find) are all great additions. Bring a bag of tortilla chips on the side.

Just read all the labels and don't use your wooden spoons or cast iron dutch oven.

Do you mix it all and throw it in the oven? I'm pretty green when it comes to making casseroles? And why can't you use a wooden spoon or cast iron dutch oven? I'm curious.

Gluten will always be on the surface if you have cooked with it. My dd can't have gf bread toasted in an oven that has ever had regular bread in it.
