I have an eleven month old breast fed daughter who has a dairy intolerance. I have recently started adding dairy to my diet again and her usual symptoms have been absent. But, she has had a yeast rash that we can't seem to cure. Her ped suggested over the counter anti-fungal(monitstat) which seems to ease it somewhat. I would like to eliminate the cause instead of just band-aiding it. I am wondering if the yeast could be caused by the dairy. Also wondering if giving her a probiotic (sp?) would help with this issue. I am also fine with eliminating dairy again if I need to. I am just not sure if the dairy and yeast are related. Any advice is much appreciated.
Thank you,
