I had one of these footrests for dd. Today it broke. I can't say I am upset because I was never entirely happy with it for a number of reasons. But now my dd, age 4 and ff in an Evenflo Triumph, is going to have her legs dangling. What is your solution for this? Thanks!!

Umm... my kids' legs just dangled. No, that's not entirely true -- they were usually up on the seat in front of them! Unless it's a really long car trip, I wouldn't worry. (And on really long car trips, we tend to have the car packed full and tuck a cooler or something under the kids' feet for storage/foot rest).

Ds's just dangle. He'll often cross them in the seat in front of him. When we were on vacation, we had an impala which had a very large back seat and he could actually sit with his knees up and place his feet on the seat of the car in front of his car seat. Like the pp, on long trips we put a bag under his feet.
