And I'm so excited to hear him speak! If anyone is in the area and interested, its at the New School, Tishman Hall at 66 W 12th St. from 6-9 pm.

I read his book last summer and then actually hosted and spoke at a seminar re: vaccines myself in the fall. Its an awesome book if anyone is interested! I'll let you know how it goes!

cheers,
andrea

It was a great presentation, hosted by Cure Autism Now. There were only about 60 people at the talk (I expected alot more?) so it was fairly intimate. He presented a lot of information from his book, "Evidence of Harm" but also showed supporting documents published in the last year that weren't available at the time of the release of the book.

Lots of great info and good questions afterwards. He's incredibly personable and I actually was standing in line with him for the washroom before hand and had a great conversation with him.

I really recommend the book for anyone who is interested in the connection between mercury and Autism. Its incredibly balanced (although standing on my side of the fence of the debate, I thought it pretty much summed up my thoughts on the connection between the two, lol) and he isn't sensational at all, which I appreciate. I think we get a lot further in research and debates if we can be level-headed. As a journalist, Mr. Kirby did a great job of presenting both sides....but he said tonight that as someone who isn't doing any of the research nor has a background in clinical trials, medicine, or science - he would put his money on the connection between mercury and autism!
