So on day 6 after having baby I did dishes that had piled up and then went shopping with DH and all 4 kids. I wore baby in a moby. Only I over did it, I hurt so much when we got home that night I was bleeding more and today I still hurt, all over! -sigh- I should not have done that.<br><br>
I MUST go to LLL tomorrow, breastfeeding issues, I hope I can manage and not end up feeling even worse.<br><br>
I feel like this is day 2, not day 7!<br><br>
Mamas please take it easy!

You, too, mama! I had a few setback days, too, and they were always after I overdid it so be good to yourself and relax when you can.

Around a week pp I also overdid it. I paid for it that night and the whole next day. Rest up, mamas!

I have come to see a lot of it is Gas pain. I did not have that the first week. But then I took probiotics, higher then normal amounts worried about possible thrush, so now I have gas pains.... -sigh-<br><br>
My bones and joints also seem to hope though. Ouchy. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/irked.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="irked">

Yes, definitely REST UP! I didn't go a lot of places over the weekend (PP days 5 & 6) but we had a LOT of company and action going on in the house, and I didn't have a chance to take any naps. My body feels a lot weaker and more tired now- and oh, the aching bones! Not to mention the CRAZY engorgement, I couldn't leave the house if I tried.<br><br>
I'm on day 7 but I think I need some more rest...I haven't had more than 2 hours of sleep in a row since 2 nights before she was born. I've learned with having had 2 kids prior, that the rest period is SO important- this time I'm trying to enjoy the help I've got with my husband home and his grandma here making meals and doing dishes/laundry. In two more days we'll be on our own for a week till my mom gets here, so I plan to spend those two days in bed with my baby.
