What is the number one thing you would give as advice for first timers ttc? Not having any issues in the ttc department, yet anyway. We are actually just getting started. I am currently reading about charting and have begun charting etc.
Hi and welcome to Mothering! The only advice I can think of is to start taking your prenatal vitamins now. And not to overdo it with the trying part in the first month. It really doesn't take 10 times.
I love the advice not to over do it. That was great. Though I am sure my husband would complain if I told him that was the advice I was given. I am basically keeping things simple for him. He is very easy going and laid back I don't want to stress him out.
My husband complained that I was trying to kill him.
And the next time we were ttc he said, "You're not going to go all crazy about it like the last time, are you? Can't we just do our normal thing and when it happens, it happens?" I said sure. I found out that it really only takes once, as long as you do it at the right time. I never charted, though, I just kind of winged it, charting would help, I would think.
My husband wanted months of trying without pregnancy, and he just never got that, unfortunately.
LOL. I am sure my husband would like that as well. I don't really think I will have to much of an issue ttc. I am slightly concerned though because I have been on the pill for a while. Ugh. I know, I know.
I wish I had some good advice for TTC, but my husband and I were blessed enough to conceive on our first cycle. We didn't chart, just DTD every day [ practically ]
I also started taking prenatals as soon as we decided to give it a go.
