She nurses her dolls all the time but tonight she wanted to nurse her baby brother. It was so cute. She said "Can I feed da baby?" and started to pull her shirt up. I told her that was so sweet but she had to be a mommy first. (Didnt want him latching on and traumatizing her LOL)

LOL! My DD likes nursing, too, and she has recently nursed:

*a bottle of medicine
*a pair of socks
*a telephone
*me
in addition to the dolls and stuffed animals that she nurses on a regular basis.

When she was 17 months old, she tried latching onto her 11 year old (boy) cousin.

I keep joking DS is going to have breastfeeding as a quality to look for in a wife. The other day he stole his sister's toy and in an effort not to give it back, he replied that the horsie he had and his sister's bunny needed "snursies" and proceeded to tandem nurse them, sound effects and all, until they were "sleeping"
