dd1 was almost 2 1/2 when dd2 was born (she's 4 months now). she weaned herself about 2 months before dd2 was born.

after i gave birth, i thought she'd start up again, and i encouraged her to, but she didn't want.

last week, she suddenly asked me to nurse...and she really did, and since then she's been nursing. not much, maybe once a day for five or so minutes, but she's nursing, and she's enjoying it.

while i kinda have mixed feelings about it, because she hasn't been nursing for a few months, i think i'm excited.

That's great! It isn't too much to make you feel overwhelmed, but is enough for her to recieve immunities and some nutrition! I, for one, approve!
