I have a distant cousin, she is almost deaf in both ears, this was discovered when she was a baby, not sure when, I haven't spoke to her parents about it. The doctors don't know why, no one knows...<br>
I am wondering if this could be from vaccines??

There are many possibilities, of which vaccines might... might... be only one. It's not really possible to begin to answer that question.

ANOREXIA COUGH DEC DEAF FEVER FLU SYND INFLAM INJECT SITE OTITIS MED PAIN EAR PHARYNGITIS RASH SALPINGITIS<br><b>Profound hearing loss in her right ear. <span style="color:#FF0000;">(she passed a hearing test at 25db in both ears the same day before shots were administered)</span></b> re-occurring ear infection in her right ear.</i><br><br><b><i>Tdap (12 years of age):</i></b><i><br>
Initial report received from a consumer on 12/Jun/2006. A mother reported that her 12 year old daughter who had no illnesses developed a headache, sore arm, dizziness, <b>difficulty hearing</b> and had sweats 24 hours after receiving the injection of Adacel, lot number not reported in the left deltoid on 09/Jun/2006. No diagnostic tests or lab work was performed. Per mom, her daughter was treated with MOTRIN and symptoms resolved. Follow up report received on 10/Jul/2006 from a health care professional. Weakness, joint pain, migraine, anxiety, depression, hair loss, insomnia, blackouts, muscle pain, skin disorder, <b>hearing loss</b>, loss vision, finger and toes go numb for min.</i><br><br><i><b>Influenza (52 years of age):</b><br>
Sudden deafness left ear. Given Prednisone and Valtrex. Little improvement.</i>
