Happy April!

Jacklyn did you make all the headings go back words. It took me a few minutes to realize Rozzie hadn't set it to a different language.

Oh, i wanted to show you the shoes I got Julian yesterday. Previously, he had two pairs of See Kai Run shoes, but he grew out of them!
I wanted to get him some sandles, and really liked these from Stride Rite. We had a really hard time getting him shoes that fit, he's a size 6 extra extra wide.
I'm going to get him another pair of kai's, but don't know which.
How does Julian walk in those Shalena? I tried those on Jett at Nordstrom's (but with only 1 extra in the size.
)

He stumbled around like he had bricks on his feet.

I'm gonna have to go back and read the rest of the March thread -- I missed a bunch of stuff! What a week we've had. My very mellow, laid back baby turned into a screaming, tantrum throwing toddler overnight. By Tuesday I was ready to have a meltdown of my own. She won't let me change her diaper anymore - EVER. Aargh. I've never been so frustrated.

Then all of a sudden, yesterday, she started walking. Just took off across the room. Funny thing is, I had the video camera on her because she had been practicing standing and I wanted to catch it. Well she took a couple of steps towards me, stood there frozen for about 30 seconds, and then took off. She was so proud! And I got it all on video.

Since then she's seemed much better. The diaper changing is still a challenge,
: , but there haven't been any more tantrums, yet. Maybe she was just working everything out and had to get it out of her system (?). All I know is she seems more like herself again - just busier!

Jaclyn - no problems. I was worried it would be harder for him because there is a weight difference between them and his robeez or his kai's, but he just walks normally. I made sure to let him wear them around the store for 10 minutes or so before we bought them.

Well done Sadie! Charlynn thats so awesome you have it on video. I wish I got the camera out more.
Yesterday Rozzie was out playing in the sprinkler, it was soooooooo cute. Anyway one my new neighbors and her husband were watching her and she's preggers! Pretty big too. So they waved and I waved and just as I was getting ready to go over there Rozzie took a dive off the porch and we had a little meltdown. But the next time she takes that dog for a walk I am going to be allllllll over this. It's like my mom alarm went off. Maybe I will get a friend, maybe she will bf and no circ, ahhhhhhhhh the possibilities.
That's cool Shauna! I hope you end up with a new mommy friend.

Here's a link to my newest album...

I couldn't really relate to you guys sometimes since Sadie wasn't walking yet. But now, eegads, I really have no free time now!

I know what you mean Charlynn, at least Niko is a mellow kid. He sure likes to down on the ground now and walking. Its still so wet here that he gets soaked the second he falls over. We went to the Aquarium and the Boardwalk this weekend and he had a blast using his new skill. Now he needs to start talking and he will be a kid.

I think everyone is walking now right?

I want to get new shoes for him but I really don't need to. I just like buying shoes

We finally did our taxes cause we thought we were gonna have to pay, but it turns out we get a nice fat refund! I just hate giving the government more money during the year but it is nice to have a surprise now! I hope it comes soon!
Baby needs new clothes!

SUbbing

I started Cole out in Robeez, then went to stride right and then went back to robeez. He falls like a thousand times less.

Happy March! I was going to play a trick and tell you all I was pregnant but that even scared ME! I'm not. Thank god.
Sadie is so cute. Last night I was nursing Rozzie to sleep, and she unlatched, kissed me on the lips, and went back to nursing. it was one of the sweetest things she has ever done. I am so glad I am still nursing her.

I was going to play that trick on my husband but I was afraid he'd be surprisingly happy

I too have been getting kisses while nursing and it is so sweet. Iris will look at my boobs and say "nana" and then kiss both of them then kiss my mouth and then fling herself into the nursing position.

Aren't those nursing moments just awesome, Shauna? Things like that make me sooo happy. If your neighbor isn't AP on her own, maybe you can steer her that way, especially with the traumatic circ stuff!!

Jett is running now, fast, and is falling more frequently. Poor dude...he takes it well, though. He loves to play chase.

I bought him some new clothes at Old Navy
: yesterday. Some hawaiian stuff and some pants/shorts. I guess the Gods are frowning about that, since it snowed today.

Our new car came on Sunday and I absolutely adore it. It's sooooo nice, but as usual, there's a car seat issue. We can't get his seat in the middle space, rearfacing. So, it's on the passenger side. With it there, though, you can't put the passenger seat all the way back or recline much. So, on long rides, it kinda sucks.

Tax wise, we're getting a refund. We've been "low income" for a few years, so we get tax credits and such because of it. We'll be using it to pay off our "Jett Debt" from his helmets and medical travel expenses.

Shanon's out of town and I have to clean a plane tonight that arrives at 1 am and departs again at 6 am. That means I have to get to the airport before 4 am at the latest. That makes me so angry. Grrrrrrr.....(bitch moan complain)

On that note, I have to go to work now, too....I have another one departing at 630 pm.

Off we go...................

I couldn't play the pregnant joke. The thought scares me but would excite DH. Not cool.

OK so I am mother to the human hurricane. And the human hurricane is getting molars. So she is the very nursing-obsessed human hurricane. And because she can now get any clothing off (even onesies) she is the perpetually nekkid human hurricane. And so cute that when I find her in a pile of thrashed ziploc baggies or amongst the remains of the cookies we were saving for later...oh, I just love her.

She is talking a lot now too and this is new for me. My other two did NOT talk this early. She's bigtime communicating though. And I mean "look mama pen" communicating.
