New month, new thread.

I did just awful the last two weeks of last month. My last weigh in was 151.7 on November 15th and my home scale today said 164. That's a gain of nearly 13 pounds! I'm sure a lot of it is water weight, but still!

We're staying home and having a very quiet Christmas so there won't be any big feasting going on this month. How are you all doing?

The last week started ok, and quickly went down the tubes. We will only be away 4 days at christmas, which will help. My parents will be here in 2 weeks, which is always hard because we go out. No holiday parties or anything though.

Stats anyone?

Starting weight (1/6/08) - 253.4
Current weight - 178.8
Total lost - 74.6 (But I have not weighed this week, I know it is up after the holidays!!)
Goal weight - A place where I feel happy and content.

Current Weight (12/1/08) - 202
Total Lost: 35 lbs!
Goal 1: 199

I weighed in today and I lost 5.6 lbs since my last WI which was 3 weeks ago. I had several pig out days but I work out like crazy so I still lost. I am very happy, and if I get to 199 next week I think I will cry!

So good to know other mamas have pig out days like me. I was so good the first two weeks, now I'm slowly crumbling here and there. I just think okay, get back on track, get back on track....

We went to a cultural event this weekend and there is always major delicious carby and meaty things there. All stuff that we're not supposed to eat: sausage, salami, crepes, etc. I tried to guesstimate how many points what I ate would count as and take them out of my weekly points. I find myself still hungry a lot of the time and think I must be doing something wrong. OTOH sometimes I have a day or two where everything seems to be going right

Oh well, keep on keeping on Mamas.

Stats:
Starting weight: 206.4 lbs
Current weight: 198.8 lbs
Lost: 8.6 lbs
Goal weight: 150 lbs (subject to revision)

Yesterday was WI day and I am down to 181.4 that is a loss of 3.2lbs

So the new stats are:

Current Weight - 181.4lbs
Goal Weight - 130lbs
Weight Lost To Date - 13.6lbs

I've been tryign to use the excersise bike daily and am up to 45 minutes doing intervals which hurt like nobody's business but I feel good after so I guess it's worth it.

I'm going with my scale for stats now, since I'm not going to meetings.

Starting: 235
Currently: 223
1st goal: 199
12 down, 24 to go!

My lungs are finally clearing up. I did 30 minutes on the rebounder last night while watching Biggest Loser. For anyone else that watches, I'm hoping Michelle wins the main contest & Colleen wins the contest of folks that have been voted off.

I've been bad about tracking points since I've been sick. Time to get back to it. I have a lot of stuff coming up. My daughter's bday party is Saturday, I'm going to the Melting Pot on Sunday. Not to mention all the holiday food. My head is already spinning from the sugar.

Weight lost: 10.4 lbs
Goal weight: 150 lbs
Pounds to go: 46 lbs - UGH

Hi everyone! I just joined today!

Starting weight: 202.8

Yeesh. That's a wake-up call. I did WW years ago -- maybe 15 years ago? -- way before kids. I started out at 185 back then. I got down to 170 and felt really thin ... couldn't sustain it though. I am setting my initial goal for 175 because I'd like to be in the "normal" BMI range for a change.

Dh is going to do this with me, although he's not officially joining or going to meetings. I'm excited! And it's so necessary -- I'm getting to the point where I can only wear one pair of jeans
:

Wish me luck!

are you drinking enough water? i was reminded at a meeting a long time ago that sometimes when we think we are hungry, it's really thirst, and to down a big glass of water to see if that helps. it is often the solution!

y'all coulda posted a reminder on the last day of november that there would be a new thread

i was 193.6 (i think!) my last weigh-in. 192.6? yikes. i haven't weighed in a couple of days. been doing alright, though, pretty much keeping on track. i need to get better about writing stuff down!

i also will be home for holidays and no company
except like i said (i think-- my brain is so fried) my mom is coming the week of the 14th but she's watching her weight, too, so
: easy-peasy!

oh-- i think i asked does anyone know of some way i can eat mincemeat and not gain a ton? cookies or pie? any other ideas?

no, no,
i meant what kind of food can i make out of it, that is less fattening?
should i just go ahead and make pie? the recipe on the jar doesn't call for anything else but what's in the jar, plus crust. i can make whole wheat crust. i thought it'd call for butter or something, but it doesn't.
i thought about cookies, but i know i would just chow down on those.

Anyone seen the plan changes online yet? They're talking about it at meetings starting on Sunday, Dec. 7th. They're calling the new plan the Momentum Plan and are focusing on the filling foods.
