<p>If the man is in tune with his body it is very effective. Best of luck for whichever way you're wishing it to go. I've used it for seven years with my DH and we've never gotten pregnant on accident. With my first three babies we got pregnant the first time we "tried" So we're very comfortable with the withdrawal method.</p>

<p>FWIW my DP is supremely in tune with his body and response. I still got pregnant. It happens. I've also become pregnant with Mirena in place despite it being even more highly effective. The pill without missing a dose. Perfect condom use. Etcetera. It happens. </p>

<p>DH and I sucessfully used withdrawl for 7 years. DD is  months and my cycle is super spotty, so right now we are using withdrawl 100% of the time. When my period is back to normal, we will go bavck to using withdrawl during the unsafe times.</p>

Same here...although so far we've stopped at three...</p>
