Wow, it has a 17" circ! And there is a short cord set as well with 5, 9, 12, 14, 16, & 19" cords. Anyone know if that makes a 5" circ or is that the actual length of the cord so that you would have to add say 5" to 4.5" of needle to make a 14" circular needle?

nevermind I think I found my answer in the FAQs -- it's the length of just the cord

That's right... and you can't actually use the 5 inch by itself. It can only be used as an extension. Seventeen inch is the smallest you can make.

That is right. I sometimes use the 5inch cord as a cable needle when doing cables.

The 5 inch is also good to stick on one needle with an end cap and call it a long, flexible needle.
