yes it is. i hope someone has feedback about them, i'd love to hear it.

i've taken the kids to dr. stan farnum and i would go to him if i needed to. he's older, and very nice. he's never worked on me, but nic loves him and has had two cavities filled without novocaine with no pain so i think he's pretty gentle. i'm just looking for someone new because ella wants to see a female instead.

I see Jason Kirkland on River just west of Campbell. You feel like you're in a spa when you go there. He is not even sort of close to a naturopath but I like him.
I'm actually looking for a new dentist as well. Mine retired and his son took over, but they're at 9000 N. Oracle which, for me, is a long way to go for a new dentist.

I can recommend Michael LaCorte for kids. He's also up north. My guy had cavities in 6 teeth at 20 months. (Astounding for an exclusively breastfed child whose mother has NO cavities.) The anesthesiologist wasn't going to let us in the room, but I talked him into it. Michael's been really gentle with my guy and always lets parents in the room for anything.

For orthodontics I recommend Matt Linaker. He's REALLY gentle and a nice guy. Also nw. I was under a lot of stress awhile back and actually pushed my front teeth out with my tongue. All the orthodontists I saw were going to charge huge sums to do braces. He recommended a retainer. Did a great job and only cost $1,000.

I've been meaning to call Linaker and ask for a referral to a dentist. I'll do that soon and post here.

Hey hey! I know Michael LaCorte. His daughter danced at my studio for years. They are a very nice family and I've always heard that he's a super pediatric dentist.

We go here http://www.medicinewheeldental.com/. You'll have to copy and paste. We see Dr. Swidler, he's a holistic dentist and he's amazing.
Thanks everybody! I am excited about the prospect of a holistic dentist, especially because I am pregnant and nursing, and concerned about the toxins associated with conventional dentistry. I'll call today!
Went to Medicine Wheel Dental today and LOVED it. They were so nice and SO informative-- I learned more about my mouth than ever before and think I had a much more thorough exam than I've ever had. And I even got a cranial massage after the cleaning--who would think getting your teeth cleaned could be relaxing?

Thanks for letting me know about it!
We see Dr. Mooberry at Swan and Pima. It is a father/son practice, they are both wonderful. All of our children go there as well and some have needed a fair amount of dental work and everyone has been so gentle and supportive.

Awesome Sarah! Was it super pricey? Do you think it would be good for kids? Was the person who cleaned your teeth female? (Ella wants to see a woman)
