des moines area farmer's markets???

LocalHarvest.com has a list of local farmer's markets.

I also found a printable PDF poster with all the Des Moines area farmer's markets last month, and I can't find the link. I'll keep looking, though.

FOUND IT!

On the PFI site, under Buy Fresh, Buy Local, click on "Des Moines Metro Buy Fresh, Buy Local Directory" (there's also a directory for NE Iowa). That PDF is still the 2004-2005 directory, but it's very comprehensive--not just farmers' markets, but also things like orchards, honey farmers, and restaurants that use local produce in their meal preparation.
