I was just thinking about the huge variety of diapers out there and was wondering what people like best... and if the perfect diaper is truly out there for me!

So here goes:

Outer - hand-dyed organic velour with embroidered design on the bum, and a small coordinating design embroidered on the front.
Inner - OV
Hidden (if any is desired)- one layer of sherpa to add absorbancy (no hemp!)

Soaker - sewn in at the front (but not internal, I mean one of those long flap styles), contour shaped, with one or two layers of sherpa and a top layer of long-loop OV

Snap configuration - there was a time when I only liked SS, but I'm more open to FS now. If FS, plenty of overlap to add to the life of the diaper, and I'd like the snaps to coordinate well with the hand-dyed colors.

Binding (serged, T&T, etc) - I'm thinking I want something bound in organic cotton ribbing, like El Bees or ecobaby grow-with-me.

Does this diaper exist IRL? - The closest I've come to is El Bees, but they don't have the sewn in soaker...

Tell me what your dream diaper would look like!!

Hmmm, well, pc's come close to what you want. Fuzbaby diapers sound like they'd be close too, as well as fmbg. They all have some or most of what you want, but not all of it, lol.

Ooh, fun!

Outer - Hand-dyed organic cotton. Velour is OK, but all velour diaps take too long to dry. I like dip-dye and embroidery, hand painting is nice too.

Inner - OC or OV. Perfer a mix of internal soaker and an extra soaker. No hemp!

Soaker - Sewn in would be best. If it snaps, I unsnap for the wash and have to pair it up after anyway. OV topped soaker for sure. Contour or thin.

Snap configuration - Side snapping. Used to do either or, but I really prefer side snapping.

Binding (serged, T&T, etc) - T&T for sure. We get rashes with serged dipes.

For me "THE" diaper is Luxe, it comes closest to all of these. It's trim without having to fight the soaker to fit.

Outer - undyed organic cotton fleece, smooth side out
Inner - undyed organic cotton sherpa, smooth side toward baby
Hidden (if any is desired)- organic cotton

Soaker - internal, organic cotton

Snap configuration - front snaps

Binding (serged, T&T, etc) - t&t

Does this diaper exist IRL? - I got one by emailing the WAHM at www.baby-cloth-diaper.com and describing it to her and she made it for me!

My ideal night-time diaper would be an organic cotton Fluffymail Nightlight without the fleece inside. (maybe the envelope part made from velour or something)
Anyone know where to find one- LMK
