Desprately seeking a Midwife

581 Views 9 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  jrojala
I am looking every where for a midwife to help me with VBAC or HBAC, whatever I end up deciding. None have returned my emails yet, though I have only sent one to each (6) thus far... It has been a few weeks and I am a little concerned that either no one can help me, or that I am being ignored... any advice??

Make phone calls.
It works better then email for some people.
Thank you
Generations Womens Clinic has an extremely high VBAC rate and there are only two midwifes, Rebecca and Mary. 651-490-0433 They are the only ones I would go to for a VBAC in the area. As for homebirth midwifes, would you like a list of them? I would imagine that they would all take on a HBAC depending on the reason for the c-section. I will PM you my number if you want to talk about any hospitals or midwifes. I can also link you to some places for local midwifes.

There are a lot of midwifes in the TC. You should definately be able to find one!
That would be SO great, thanks!

Just another recommendation to call Generations Women's Clinic if you are looking for a hospital birth. Mary and Rebecca are fantastic! Otherwise as Sarah said there are lots of great homebirth midwives in the area. Good luck!
