another option all together is to use some cream to thin out cream cheese and then use the cream cheese with the yolks. the flavor is different, but we like it...especially the raw cream cheese and raw cream from a nearby farm
:

we like them plain or the addition of smoked salmon bits, capers, and maybe onion are a delicious combo with the faint cream cheese flavor

I mix the yolks with mayo, a bit of dill pickle juice, mustard and dried dill. Then after I put the yolks back in the eggs I sprinkle with paprika.

I've mixed the yolks with raw cream (even just the cream from the top of gallon of milk), a pinch of sea salt, curry powder & a dab of chili paste. Pretty tasty. I sprinkle a dusting of curry powder over top for looks.

I follow a very simple recipe which is what my grandmother taught my dad who taught me: egg yolks, mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper, and a dusting of paprika on the top. Mmm, now I want some too...
