<p>I am looking for a hands off,  home birth midwife that really trusts a woman's body to know what to do in pregnancy and birth. pref. one that would do in home prenatal visits. I just interviewed one today and loved her on paper, not so much in person. She contradicted herself alot and so I am not sure I want her attending my birth. Does anyone have any recs?</p>

<p>Anyone from Family Birth Services in Grand Prairie.  Helen Jolly owns the place, but doesn't attend many births anymore, I don't believe.  But all the midwives call her if they come across something they haven't seen before.  I've used April Pierce, but she'll be moving to Missouri after the first of the year.  Sorani is awesome, as is Lisa from FBS.  Also Molly Germash use to work there and is awesome, and I've used her at 2 births, but now she's in Peaster (by Weatherford) at her own birth center.  Donna ****** is also fantastic.  HTH!</p>

She has a wonderfully calm demeanor that I totally appreciated~</p>

<p>I just attended a birth the weekend before Christmas at Heart's Desire Midwifery (Molly Germash) in Peaster).  I'd not attended one at that birth center before and it was wonderful.  She has 2 nice birth tubs and the birth center is so homey. <br>

<p>Melody Morrow & Joni Gingles are both at Cleburne Birthing Center & they are wonderful! They do HB as well as births at the center. Not sure about home prenatals though.</p>

<p>I for sure recommend Molly Germash. She has delivered all three of my girls! I drove from Dallas to Peaster for the last two. Thats how much I love her!!</p>

<p>Did you find someone?  I'm using All About Babies for this baby (used BWC for the first one) and really like their hands-off approach.  Not sure if they do in-home prenatal visits.</p>

<p>Dinah Waranch and Rose Marie *****. Dinah is incredibly hands off and quite alternative, but Rose Marie does home prenatal visits.... kathleen does home prenatals too, but I didn't really click with her.</p>
