I read the article about BF taking over a marriage...I just mentioned the article, and I knew that my husband was supportive of my BF, but I had no idea that he was so proud of me
: He said that all of his friends at work know that I BF and he is a construction foreman, and alot of younger guys look up to him as a "role model"
: I guess the family thing, cause he can be pretty silly with me
but I see what they mean, all of our children are ours, no other "baby mommas" ykwim? Any way he tells everyone! He said he admires me for this!
My committment to our children, and how I can never go ANYWHERE alone I know that here everyone KWIM
So YEA! for my Lavtivist Husband! He i s by no means a snob about BF, but he does ask "Why not?" So good for him I am So PROUD of DH.

my DH brags about my choices to his co-workers too (within reason, I WOULD like him to STFU about the homebirth though...I dont need that kind of ostracism like I got in Borden...)

He keeps saying how much money cloth diapers have saved us, how wonderful breastfeeding is. whenever someone whines about how much formula costs he just rolls his eyes and said "You know she could have breastfed and you wouldn't be having this problem, you should have encouraged her"

Yay for your DH! My DH is definitely pro-bf, too. He's pretty outspoken about all his opinions, and I'm sure all his expectant co-workers have gotten an earful about nursing and cloth diapers. Several women
: in his office were ganging up on this one gal who took several pumping breaks every day. DH stood up for her, thank goodness!
