You know, I think this is one of those situations where you just have to step back and let him make the decision for himself. Give him the information you need him to have - that you would love for him to come and stay, that you think it would be great (and not too confusing) for your dd to have everyone together for the holidays. Then let it go. He gets to decide.

Hang in there -- I imagine it's so tough to listen to those comments. If you feel, in your heart that moving is the best for you & your dd, you have to do it. He's made his decisions in your marriage & life and everything that have led you to this place & this decision, so even if it was "your" decision to move.....he has a part in all of it too.
