Hey all

Earlier in the night my dh started complaining of a headache. He took 2 tylenol. It has since gotten way worse. He is throwing up and coughing a lot. It is in the front of his head. He has a history of migraines but they are always in the back of his head. This is in the front I think it may be a migraine but am not entirely sure.

Any ideas to help him? Do you think its a migraine? A bad headache?

He is a mess at the moment

No I don't think he is having any light/noise sensitivity

but he has been throwing up a lot He also said he was freezing but I think that may be from all the throwing up.

I dunno. hes really hard to read when he is sick....

Vomiting can be a symptom of stroke. With this serious of a headache, you might want to take him in. It's probably just a migraine, but you know what they say about the worst headache of your life, get it evaluated by a doc, asap. It is possible his symptoms could be more serious, and they only way to know for sure is to have it evaluated.

I know someone who recently was diagnosed with sepsis (very severe, life threatening) and some of his initial symptoms were similar to that.

I'd probably take him in, especially if you have medical. If you don't have medical insurance, then I'd call the nearest hospital's emergency department and ask if anyone can talk to you about his symptoms.

Thanks everyone for the advice we ended up in the ER as it just got so bad. They think it was a really bad migraine and after a shot of anti nausea meds and a percocet he stopped throwing up and the pain finally started to subside.

He is home sleeping now without pain! But we will be going to our regular doc for a follow up.

Thanks again
