Last night while I was doing the dishes, a little toddler ran by my window with his mom chasing him. He was wearing cloth!!!! I got so excited. I had no idea anybody else around here used cloth. It was super bulky too. I'm think either a very bulky fitted or a fitted with wool cover. I couldn't tell.

And then right after that the Good Start commercial came on and I'm turning my head to watch it because the little baby at the very beginning has a prefold on. DH definitely thinks I've lost it.

That is too funny. My Dh already things switching to cloth is nutty, and i've been pointing them out everywhere! As if that will make it easier for him to accept. :

i think desitin has a commercial/ad with a bunch of babies that looks like cloth covers over sposies though since the diapers are so thin looking. i don't know though.

I was JUST having this conversation with an MDC momma not 5 minutes ago. :LOL
Also, for those of you with the new pottery barn catalog look in the basket labeled "diapers" under the changing table They are PREFOLDS
Which made me carefully examine all baby pages, and yup, all cloth!!!

I thought the reason commercials and stuff had cloth diapers (and I do think they are covers over a sposie) is so that it can be "generic" like the way you always see food in movies labeled *juice* with a big fat orange on it but no brand.

And the pottery barn thing is probably just for burp cloths... I can dream though! : One of dh boss at work talked about cloth diapers and so when dh mentions that in passing I am like "ohhhh what do they use bla bla bla, do you want me to make them one?" dh looks at me like WTH (turns out they had prefolds for burp rags and called them diapers), he still doesnt understand that dreamy look in my eyes when I see someone IRL that cloth diapers. So far I have seen two. And because I met them on the internet and arranged to meet. I have yet to pass someone on the street and see cloth.
