Hi all,

Since my first appointment with my midwife I have been taking the Expecta DHA supplement that she recommended, as I am a vegetarian and a picky eater. Just now I read something that the rosemary extract in these supplements is a no no for pregnancy. I am almost 6 months pregnant and have not had any issues, but it concerned me a little. Yet I cannot find a DHA supplement without rosemary extract. Surely it must be too small of an amount because all the prenatal DHA supplements do contain it.

Just over-worrying or can anyone recommend one without the rosemary?

Thanks mamas!

My midwife just recommended the same brand to be because you don't have to worry about mercury and she said flax seed oil wasn't good enough. She also told me that I need to eat small fishies twice a week.

I was really annoyed that one of its selling points was "from the maker of enfamil." As if that was a *positive.* Yuck.
