DH caught me coming out of the bathroom on Saturday and said...

"You sure do pee a lot. What like every 30 minutes?"

and I say...

"You are just noticing this after 8 1/2 months?"

Men are just so oblivious sometimes it just makes me laugh.

Yup, mine's like that, too. When i'm home alone or sleeping, (possible TMI), i'll pee a few times before flushing, just because it seems like a waste to flush 97 times a day if I can flush 72 times a day. And it drives him crazy if he notices.

DH: What, are you just going to leave pee in the potty for 4 hours?
Me: I did that 10 minutes ago, and i'll do it again in 10 minutes.
DH: Really? You pee that often??
Me:
: Uh, yeah. You hadn't noticed that?
DH: No... but I did wonder why we kept running out of toilet paper.

Silly boys. Wait till he sees how often the baby messes a diaper.....

Same story here except I've made my husband follow the 'if it's yellow...' rule since we've been married. It still grosses him out. I do him the courtesy in the morning to flush it before I know he'll be getting up since it makes him a little grumpy to see the yellow bowl before he does his morning business. I just hate to flush all of that water away, especially these days, you know?

One thing I've noticed since being on maternity leave is that we go through SO much more paper. And I can no longer blame my husband (who is the worst offender).
We're going through 1 double roll these days and also quite a few of those flushable toddler wipes.

Oh yeah. Heck, I'm on well water, but even so, dumping 3 gallons of water into the septic system every 30 minutes can't be a good thing. I usually try to flush once in the morning, clean it with the brush, and then not flush again till before suppertime.

Plus, it enrages my toddler if he hears anyone flush the toilet without him. He's REALLY REALLY into flushing right now.
