Try chiropractic care first, along with some dietary changes. I'd suggest cutting out wheat and sugar, see if that helps in a major way. Drinking at least a gallon of water every day should help, too, but won't take care of whatever the underlying problem really is. You don't have to wean to have a lap (my baby was 13 months old when I had my last surgery), but you don't want a regular ob/gyn doing it either. If you have endometriosis, you want a specialist doing your lap, someone who can and will remove any and all endo implants he finds no matter where they are located.
