We got the Land's End Do-It-All for longer trips, but still need something for everyday use: like trips to the store, half-day outings, walks at the beach, etc...
We had planned on getting the Land's End Little Tripper, but it sounds from reviews like it's maybe too small?? Any recommendations? Sounds like folks like the LL Bean bag, but I can't seem to find it on their website.
Also, what styles work well with a sling or ergo?
Thanks, mamas!

I love my Overland Donner Bag. http://www.rei.com/product/47694892.htm

It probably wouldn't work for half day outings but I find it's great for trips to the store, storytime, etc. I rarely change my 18mo DC when out so this works great for me.

Mine currently holds:

Main compartment:
Carters Lap Pad Crib Size, Wahmies Mini Wetbad which holds one (clean) Bum Genius, Huggies plastic wipe container, 1 cloth wipe, small Purell bottle & 2 small snack containers

Front compartment:
Cell phone, sunglasses, lipstick, notepad & pen

Back pocket:
Wallet

Side bottle pocket:
Thermos Funtainer

Since the strap is adjustable I have worn it messenger style with my Mei Tai and on one shoulder with my hotsling.

I'm no-frills... we bought a small-sized backpack that I use as a diaper bag. I love it because it can be carried with both straps, one strap or by the loop on top. I fill the inside with "kid stuff" and use the outer pocket for "big people stuff"

I second the Donner.. love, love love this bag, but it is small. I also really like the Lexie Barnes Darling. A bit bigger, but a great CD bag IMO. And they are both made in the USA!!

The Land's End Little Tripper worked fine for me for shorter trips during the months of nb/small diapers that don't take up as much room & while exclusively breastfeeding and before needing to tote along a sippy cup and snacks and toys. It was once my baby moved into medium/large diapers and also was at the age of needing snacks and toys that the LE LT was too small for us. You can't beat the price for a good quality bag. Our LT has come in handy different times as our child got older too. It's the perfect size for an older toddler bag too when you can travel light again.

I have the Skip Hop Dash and love it. It's in between the size of the DIA and the LT and is super good quality. It holds quite a bit more than my LT, but is not bulky or hard to carry at all... no where near as big and cumbersome as the DIA. I really love mine.
