My ds has just turned 6 months and is about 15.5 lbs, but is very very tall. He was 27 inches at 4 months.

I have been using G diapers but he has leak issues. I bought some cloth diapers- the seize for 15-30 pounds. However hard I try to put them on tight they are baggy around the legs.

We were away travelling a couple of weeks ago so I decided to use disposable. The size 2 are pretty tight on him, but the 3's are pretty baggy.

Either way he leaks out of them. I change him frequently and it is so frustrating. Last night he soaked through sleepwear, blanket and sheet. He did it again at naptime.

Does anyone have any suggestions?!

Oooh! We have been there. Our suggestion - go up a size. The absorbency could be a problem.

Our son is about 15 pounds and wears SIZE 4 - Kirkland brand (Costco) diapers. They fit well. Of course, the diapers cover his belly button. But, there have been no leaks. I suspect as well, the larger size holds more liquid.

Also, we did not have success with Pampers.

last time I used sposies was when we moved and DD was about that size I put her in size 4 dipes.

she just has chubby legs and a belly, what can i say.

and cloth dipes, you really have to find what works best for your babe. i can't use fuzzy bunz because she's got these *thighs* and the FBs just cut into them and if i size up then i can't get them tight enough around the waist. you've not known cleanup until you've had poop up the back and into the *hair* of a babe. And the pillow and the sheets and the... it was bad.

I finally settled on prefolds and flats and covers and they work well for us. you might have to try a few different kinds of dipes and find the fit. maybe find some gently used stuff on the trading post?
