So I did a fast count last night and have about 35 diapers of all sorts. LOL Mostly NB and a few small I think. I really need to keep better track and more in the mail I think. LOL

Oh, and my son who is 18 months is back into cloth, mostly BP, all together about 10 covers and 20 snap ins! Yay!

I have been busy, all your faults you know too. LOL Thank you! Diapers are really helping me enjoy this pregnancy more. I tell baby all about them! LOL

As for my budget.... well lets not think about it!

I was going to take a picture of my stash a few weeks ago and that's when I discovered that my new (as in, we bought it in February!) camera was not working. Ugh! So, I took it in the next day to be serviced. I should get it back today and then I'll share my pics. I still have to work on my small stash. Only have a handful of smalls. But my newborn stash is done.

My newborn stash layaway is almost paid off and I just discovered prefitteds and am going to be trying some of those. I am going to hopefully get a few longies and soakers for this babe especially since its my last and those things are usually a splurge. I am also getting about 3 doz new wipes....

I am sewing away. Building my stash slowly w a few used kissaluvs and homemade fitteds. I need some more covers, will go with bummis since those have worked best w both my boys. I want to get some pf's and tie-dye them. Need to wait for payday though

I just took pictures of what I have so far and hopefully will have the pics up by tonight. I also got some prefitteds from Grow Me a Rainbow that I'm waiting for and I'm also waiting for an order from Jamtots. Everything I bought so far has me at 31? diapers, I think. I heard 36 is a good number but I've been washing every other day for DS anyway so I think I'll get by, plus I do have infant prefolds in case of emergency that I never used with DS until he got bigger as pocket stuffers. I can't wait to show you all the stuff I got.
I am sad I have to end my little diaper addiction. It has been so fun.

Well, since I cded DD from birth, I already have the majority of my stash. Here's what I have for the NB/ small sizes:

12 XS Very Baby AIOs
12 NB Sugar Plum Baby OC fitteds
3 NB Sugar Plum Baby OV fitteds
12 NB/ small Tykie fitteds
3 doz infant Chinese Prefolds (about 1/2 will be converted to prefitteds sometime this summer)
6 Small FBs

3 Small Kiwi Pie wool covers
1 NB/ Small Tykie wool cover
2pr NB knitted Wonderpants (knit by me)
1pr Small Tykie wool jersey pants
1pr Small Wonderpants (knit by me)
2pr Small Ruskovilla Nappy pants

I also have a list of about 4 small knitted covers, 2 XS knit pants, 2 Small knit pants, and a few prs of wool interlock pants that I want to make. Oh, and 12 Small handmade fitteds.

I guess I better get busy...

I have not one diaper yet! I am working on it though. I decided to check into getting some Kissaluvs sz 0 and maybe something else.. Used or new.

I'll buy a few Mother-ease one-size and a few other brands of OS or fitteds too. Then as babe grows intothem I can see what works best for his/her body and I will order more.

I am so afraid of not having enough to start out with and of getting too many that just don't work for us. It's such a balancing act for me. But I am still excited and still looking at diaps all the time.

My sister gave me a whole box full of the old school cloth diapers that use pins - I guess those are called prefolds. Why in the world are they called that? They aren't prefolded! You have to do oragami with the darn things to get them on the baby and then hope you don't stab them with the safety pins. I definitely won't be using them, not for diapering. Especially if I am going to get my not so convinced hubby on board with CDing this baby.

I guess I should get on this at some point huh?

I'm picking up my stash on Thursday. My friend is letting me borrow some things so I can practice CD on DD. If I can handle it and keep up with the laundry then she's going to let me borrow her entire stash so I can try out all the different kinds.

Well I hope to crochet longies for this baby and I pray I learn to knit fast enough. LOL

Got a few more diapers in the mail today. LOL Hubby made me a program to keep track of them all but it will take me forever to find all the prices and kinds of them. I really expected to just do Berry Plush and fitted with wool. But now it seems I have some of everything. LOL guess we will see what works!

I am getting a little grrrrr as I ordered Jamtots end of last month and it shipped a week ago but still no sign of my box! Grrrr

I went through my storage bins and found my newborn diapers (Mother-ease XS Sandy's). They are so small and so cute! It makes me so happy!

No pix b/c they are all in a garbage bag in dd's closet and I'm too lazy to dig them out

. I'm pretty much set though - maybe just need to pick a few more NB covers. NB fitteds are rediculously small and cute.

You can just fold these into thirds and put them inside a velcro-closing cover. Not too hard at all. You could always use them as back up if you get a few velcro-closing covers...see this demo...http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/prefolds.htm#fold

I made all of ds's diapers last time around, but I got rid of most of them so we'll be doing mostly prefolds and some AIOs (I have about 6 BumGenius and 6 bumkins) for dh and babysitters. You really can't beat the PFs for cost, even if they're a little boring!

Well, my camera is still not done.

: They said it would be back on the 17th. I went in today, waited for a solid 20 min. while they took their good time fiddling with people's laptops that weren't working. Had the kids with me, they were going nuts. And of course, they told me it wasn't back yet. So, I won't be getting pics up tonight or tomorrow for that matter.

All my small dipes are packed away still. I probably won't get to them until after we move. I know I have 12 fuzzi bunz and a few kissaluv fitteds and six kissaluv contours. I am going to buy a few more this time-maybe 6 more fuzzi bunz and several kissaluvs fitteds. I waiting to order more until after the ultrasound. That way if we are having a girl I can order a few girlie colors

You should keep these! Prefolds can be so wonderful! I love them under wool covers. There are these plastic things called snappies that are so easy no worry about pins to hurt baby that you can use with those diapers!
