Do we have a thread yet about our diaper stashes? I haven't been around much. If we do, where is it? If we don't, lets share!!! I am being rediculously excited about diapers these days! :

Diapers diapers diapers, i'm singing a little diaper song.

I'm waiting on some more to arrive in the mail before making a stash-photos project. It is a beautiful little stash. Okay, it's a huge beautiful stash.

Today I ordered a custom VB AIO with a phoenix embroidery. It is going to be gorgeous! Since I don't have to worry about having enough diapers this time, I'm getting smaller numbers of fantastic custom diapers. How much fun is that?

I am soooo excited. I have a friend who has twins that have grown out of their small daipers, so I am going to buy a whole bunch from her. They are fuzzy bunz which I used with ds and loved, but I gave all the small ones to a cousin.

Score!

I ordered quite a few FBs today - both small and medium they were such a good deal, so along with all the worn-out diapers i already have we're going to be wallowing in them! (I am, however really looking forward to trying out those new Bumgenous 2.0s first!.... )

Do you have to be cloth diapering to join this thread? I've been so excited about diapers lately that I was beginning to question my sanity!

My first baby shower was this past weekend and I got 3 boxes of diapers. I had already purchased three big boxes already so now I think I've got enough dipes for the first 8 weeks or so. I keep pulling out all the dipes and wipes and rearranging them in the nursery. I can't wait until she's here so we can finally use them!

So far my stash consists of 23 kissaluv size 0, a few infant prefolds, 4 nb proraps and 3 stacinator covers for the newborn phase. I have a bunch of ks doublers too.

I also have a 1 kissaluv size 1 and a bunch of random small diapers that I've gotten in trades and from the e-shower. I need to start buying more ks size 1 and small bsww covers.

We'll switch to pockets when we hit mediums!

I wouldn't have that big of a nb stash if a friend of mine hadn't been selling her twins nb cd's either. But they were such a steal I couldn't resist!

We went through about a box a week when we used sposies. So far we have 3 new covers from someone by April. I know the name I just can't think right now @@! We have a bunch of cloth diapers, mostly size medium, from a rummage sale that are really ratty but they were .50. I have 8 adjustable used Under The Nile fitteds. 2 wool soakers. A stack of infant prefolds. We haven't really gotten anything "New" for this baby but just grabbed whatever was on sale at the time. I haven't bought any newborn diapers yet either.

I have 11 size small pockets (Fuzzibuns, Happy Heiny, and one Starbunz), a NB Swaddlebees organic fitted, all bought from a friend with twins. Some NB size covers on their way from a friend. 12 BumGenius 2.0's and a large Starbunz monkey. I am going to buy this week; 36 small prefolds and about 8-10 BSWW covers (also one or two NB size PFs to stuff with). I need to start stocking up on the mediums, but am waiting for the friends twins to outgrow them. Does that seem like enough? I haven't CD a newborn yet!

I'm curious, how much NB sized do you build up, or mostly skip to small? I have a box of NB, I need to sort through, and a lot of M, but little small. My kids are usually pretty small, and stay that way, but hate to have all these diaps and not be able to use them. We started cloth when ds3 was around 2 or 3 months, and he was in a small, but I have no idea how long to expect the NBs to last

I have 36 pfs and 9 covers. And also 3 small pockets.

Inspired007, have you considered giving cloth diapers a try? I used to get excited about sposies but then I realized how much waste for the environment they create, not to mention the chemicals in them...

Well since I went through this 2 yrs ago with DD 1, I am all set in the dipes dept!
I have 2 doz CPFs, 6 BSWW covers, 6 sm Swaddlebees aplix pockets, 2 sm FBs (froggie print) and 2 cute little fleece outer AIOs. I can't wait to get that little bum into all that soft non-toxic cloth! DD was born 3.5wks early and was too small to wear any of it until she was 4wks old. So I hope this DD can cook a little longer and wear her stuff sooner!

Tell me about pf LOVE.

I've never used pfs before, but a friend of mine sent me 36 (!) along with 9 covers (!) so I really can't justify buying other dipes. So I'll be using pfs. Will I love them? Say yes!

honestly I'm a little nervous about my newborn diaper situation.

I don't know why I gave everything on after DD... other people needed it at the time.

I have a dozen infant PFs I just got back from a friend who borrowed them (thought I had two dozen though) and she loaned me one small cover and I bought one. I also have one AIO and one hemp fitted.

She will loan me her small FB stash and I'm set from mediums on up...

I know what I really need will come my way but it's a little nerve racking as the time draws nearer. Hopefully I'll be blissfully surprised when my e-shower gift comes!

Yuma PFs are ideal for the early months IMO and then again around PT time (and as backups in between). I love my pockets too, but I nothing is more versatile IMO.

wow, I actually just bought some more of the really crappy Gerber's- I loved 'em for the wee early days, you could fold them so many ways and there was just not that much wet or poo at a time. Then when my DSQ CPF came into play at about 6 or 7 weeks the crusty Gerber's became the best house hold rags.

We're using fuzzi bunz. we only started cd'ing dd when she was about 18 months (i know, right!!) so we have plenty of mediums-figuring she'll be potty learned by the time #2 needs them. So we just have to get some smalls and inserts. I'm thinking about 16-20 small dipes. We only have 14 mediums and do a wash every 2-3 days, so 16-20 should be good-unless we have a pooping machine!! I can't wait to order them!!

that's what happened to mine too....did you know they catch on fire at less than 250 degrees?? but they do make very good potholders....as long as you stay in the thick part
i have 2 that didnt turn into household rags somehow...i was looking at them compared to the curity dsq from when i was a babe and felt sorry for a nb with that huge hard to manueaver thickness inbetween they're legs. :
i figure household washcloths probably hold as much as those, and i figure are probably more comfy for a nb with having less bulk
