Tracy is throwing a fit when it comes to diapers. He takes them off...even if he has clothes on he can get them off. He has even gotten it off while wearing a snap crotch shirt!

But I can't get him to go on the potty! I ask and ask but he just says no. Then 5 minuets later he is covered in pee.

Now I'm in the middle of cleaning up the most poop I have ever seen in his room and living room. He pooped and then played in it. He even went so far as to go get my shoe and pit IT in the poop!!

How can I get him to use the potty??

Ohh mama. I feel for you. We went through this phase as well. My ds became quite the poop artist. All I can suggest is asking him and taking him to the potty chair frequently. I'll admit, it didn't help a lot in our case. We went through a month of messy clean ups but ds got it eventually.

Oh and if you have carpet, invest in your own carpet cleaner.

Sorry I couldn't help you more but take some strength in the fact that many a mama has been where you are now and survived.

do you have dipes/training pants that you can pull up so he can do it himself? DD will take off any diaper that she hasn't helped put on.

for nap at day care I sewed up a special "napsuit" basically a sleeper, but the zipper is in back. In a pinch a sleeper in a size bigger than she's currently wearing on backwards works too.

and I'd play outside a lot. You could bring the potty out there and let your little guy run around in a just a t shirt and sunscreen.
