My sister is expecting twins in November, and is wanting to CD them! I promised her I'd help her get a stash together, but since we didn't CD when Katie was a newborn, I have no idea what is best for tiny bums. (And chances are, they're going to be really tiny. My sis was a 4 lb. baby, her DH was around 5 lb, and she's carrying twins, which are usually smaller-than-average, I think.) Where would you tell her to start? She's managed to talk her DH into this because of the savings I promised she'd see over sposies, so I can't exactly steer her towards hyena dipes, but dipes that are easy enough for her DH to use would be great. (Having two bums to diaper, I imagine he's going to be doing SOME of the work, despite his claims he won't : )

I have no idea as I didn't use cloth in the newborn stage but congrats to your sis!

I have heard a lot of people like kissaluvs in the beginning but that's my only real advice.

Anne- We've missed you around here! How are you???

Kissalivs size 0 are really tiny, as are newborn proraps. Maybe some preemie prefolds with proraps would be good?

Thanks Katie. I've missed being here! I can't believe it, but my Katie is almost potty-taught!

Thank you for the congratulations for my sister, Jackie! These babies are truly little miracles, and we're all so excited for them! Tomorrow is my sister's 17 week ultrasound, and we're hoping to know who is in there!

I'd been leaning towards kissaluvs 0s, because I'd heard good things about them when I was here before, so I'm glad they're still considered a good option! I'll pass that along to my sister, as well as the other suggestions. I'm thinking of making her a diaper cake for her shower, out of cloth, of course.

Please keep the suggestions coming, if you have any others!

The nanipoos that I just got are nice and small and they are very reasonably priced too (about $6.50 each). I would probably get a stash of about 1/2 preemie prefolds and 1/2 newborn fitteds to start with...and about 12-14 covers.
