I don't know anything about their practice but I do know that Dr. Dicker was married to Marla Scott - from Midwives of Denville, so I am assuming (something I probably shouldn't do) that he might be open to VBACS. Wish I had more information. If ICAN is not of help I would suggest contacting a local doula in the area like Kelli DeFlora. Or checking through the DONA website - they usually know all the VBAC Dr.'s and can make a recommendation even if you are not considering using their services for your birth.

Good Luck.

Really? Dr. Dicker who delivered my DS #1 at the now-closed Pascack Valley Hospital was married to Betty Tannin-Dicker, a nurse/lactation consultant there. Seems they've been married for a while and were married at a young age. (sorry, not trying to gossip, just making sure that we're talking about the same person)

Anyway, if anyone wants to know my experience with this practice, feel free to PM me. It was my first birth (induction resulting in vaginal birth), so I don't have any personal info on VBACs. I do remember his card saying that he did VBACs, but that was over 3 years ago...
