I did! I thought it was great! A very honest look at him. Things may not have been perfect under his leadership, but it was certainly better then now and I really wish we could reelect him!
I saw it and loved it. I am about 3rd on the list for his book at the library. I hope it reads like he talks.

I miss the country under his leadership as well. I liked how he *hates* (my word) Ken Starr. :puke I was
: to see his smarmy face again. Then I wondered--where is the special prosecutor to investigate all of GWB's lies??????

I saw it too. So refreshing to see a true leader!

I'd vote for him again in a heartbeat.
If only, fellow MI mom.

OT--would you vote for Hillary??

I was wondering that too. Couldn't GWB be impeached for sending the country to war under false pretenses (ie, weapons of mass destruction)?

The whole Monica thing looks pretty lame now. Not that Clinton was perfect, by any means, but as my friend's bumper sticker says, "Nobody died when Clinton lied".

I thought he handled the Monica thing (last night) with great aplomb!

Yes, and I *did* vote for Hillary. She's my senator. Now leave her be. Please.

Leave her be because you don't want her to leave NY or leave her be because you think I meant something bad?

Well, Clinton did after all *ask* for a special prosecutor. Can't see that happening this go around.

I saw it and agree with your posts above that there was a sort of renewed enthusiasm for this country when he took office. I am sorry his healthcare intitative didn't pass, we analyzed it in grad school (nursing) and the consensus was it was a good plan and the bugs could have been worked out but it never got off the ground. They should have just implemented it but they spent too much time researching, etc. Also a mistake to hand it over to Hilary, she was not the most tactful or popular person at effecting change.

I liked seeing him with his old friends eating in the diner, it says a lot (to me) about his character that he still has friends from preschool.

Otoh, when he was asked what he was thinking when he was involved in the MOnica thing and he replied something to the effect that "I wasn't thinking clearly at all then." I thought oh that's scary, the man running our country wasn't thinking CLEARLY!!!

I think he is very chaRismatic. I see him and I would like to meet him. I see gwb and get the creeps.

I just thought all of you feminist types would like to know that all resumes from women who are applying for a position in his office in Harlem need to be accompanied by a "comely" photograph of the prospect.

He is not the person* first to require a photograph, but I feel anyone who requires a woman's photograph first for a job is not interesed in what is on the resume'.

So much for equal opportunity in the work place.

*Rush Limbaugh also required a photograph of all women who simply wrote to him.

A pox on all of their houses!

I didn't see the Clinton thing... I stopped watching 60 minutes after 9-11... any major network is highly unreliable, unlike in ages past (sort of).

I just can't gush over Clinton... sure he's not shrub but wow, what a thing to be proud of: 'at least I'm not that guy...' IMO, neolib is as bad as neocon. Clinton was the republikaaners best weapon... he charmed everyone and slipped under the radar while he was doing a Reagan-lite impression re: the environment, foreign policy, etc.

I'd smoke a cigar with him but I wouldn't want him as my President again... any more than I'd want the nutcase who occupies 1600 PA ave now.

As a journalist myself, I have to say I believe 60 Minutes is in a class of its own when it comes to TV news. They have broken many major stories since 9/11, and continue to be at the forefront of investigative reporting. Give 'em a chance!

Oh, and I *would* vote for Hillary.

I would vote for HRC as well. Did anybody hear that Bill went off on a BBC reporter yeterday?
