Heh, So I did end up spending over half the day walking all around Magic kingdom on saturday and not go into labor Woot! Infact I had only a couple BH the WHOLE day.
I was really surprised. The second half at Epcot my Mom ended up renting me a scooter which was interesting. Because rather than looking like a pregnant women, I just looked fat and people kept staring and giving me the "UGH! Shes another fat person at disney who is too lazy to walk herself" Look.
I just laughed and zipped past them on my way to where I wanted to go. Made my Lawl.
Heres me on the scooter

And I did a DITL on Livejournal so I traced a map of where I walked at Magic Kingdom hehe.

You do so look pregnant! Those meanies are just jealous.

I'm jealous that you were able to walk that far! I can barely make it through the grocery store without feeling like my back is going to break in half. My feet still hurt from standing in my kitchen on Saturday making dinner..lol

Glad you had a great time!

I didnt start to hurt till about 3/4's of the way through walking.
My thigh/hip started killing me and I figured out it was from my waddle. So if I consciously made and effort to not waddle side to side it didnt hurt.
But once I got into my scooter EVERYTHING started hurting.
Back, butt, thighs, legs, feet, you name it it was in pain.
Then of course from sitting I started getting crampy.
LOL I couldn't win.

Sounds like you had a good day at least till the pain kicked in to much. I wouldnt have even tried it so you deserve some sort of award!

You definitely look pg, no worries mama! Glad you had fun!

Though I'm glad I'm not the only one in pain wandering through the supermarket! No carts for me yet, but I get all cranky at DH when he asks me to "run to Target, Sam's Club, and the supermarket real quick". Um, ouch?!

I think my reward was actually getting to go hehe.
Even though I had a bunch of drama to deal with while there, it was still nice to get to be at Disney.
I go way to often because we have seasonal passes.
Ive been like 3 times since getting pregnant, and am already planning on going in OCT with the baby and some family of mine coming into town hehe.

I'm all about traveling with this little guy. DH and I are considering going camping with him at the end of may (pending when hes actually born).
But that all depends on how I feel and how the LO is.
Luckily with the camping bit we'll be going to a medieval reenactment event so there will be tons of friends and support there to help us out with him. Especially since DH will be sword fighting *pouts* I would be too but I doubt it'll be a great idea to start fencing again only a few weeks PP. LOL

Aw, you look so cute on the scooter! I'm glad you didn't go into labor at Disney, although that would have been a good story!

I'm hoping to travel with our little one this summer too; hopefully up to northern MN where my family will be camping, and to their cabin later in the summer (July and August are wonderful there). We're going to try to use my husband's leave to good effect.

I hear you loud and clear on the fencing; for me, it's bicycling. There's an organized ride that we love going on that is happening in June, but I just don't think a 350 mile bicycle trip 3-6 weeks PP is going to happen! That doesn't stop me from wishful thinking, though.

Sweet ride!! Glad you had fun and got to use the scooter! Hope your little one likes traveling. Hope mine is mellow too because I don't want to miss our summer camping trip either. I have a feeling though that we will rent a room somewhere because I can just picture him crying in the middle of the night in a camground full of tenters. Not my cup o tea. But at least we can participate in all the camping events minus the tenting.

Anybody who couldn't tell that you were pg in that scooter is visually impaired, so I hope the Disney staff let them bring their guide dogs in!

I can't wait to take my family to WDW. If we lived close and had passes, I swear we would go every month.

With my Job I had to go to Orlando every other month to teach a class (I live 2 hrs away). I also work for my family and my Father felt more comfortable with my staying at the Disney hotels rather than the hotel I taught in. So I would go to Disney every other month or so for almost 2 years.
I didnt always go into the parks or ride rides.
But I can't tell you how many times I would go to epcot just to go to dinner.
LOL

And its crazy because I still love disney.
I was even married there in the wedding pavillion. hehehe
