I thought I saw a post here a while ago about it but I can't find it. Either way, mine is killing me and it's so weird! My friend gave me a belly band thing and it's sort of helping, but what else can i do? I want to push it in all the time!

Maybe try a topical homeopathic analgesic like arnica gel or Traumeel ointment. I have used both for various aches and pains and had success - arnica really helped with my dental work/jaw pain and Traumeel was a godsend when I broke my foot last year. My belly button does not hurt but it itches like crazy! I have been using the Hyland's bug bite anit-itch stick on it! Lol!

My belly button hurts. It has not popped out yet, but it feels sore if I put any pressure on it. No idea what this is though.

Isn't the belly band for after?

If it's killing you and it wants to be out, I don't think pushing it in is going to make a real difference over the next few months. Once that baby starts putting on weight, that belly button is just going to do it's own thing.

I second the Traumeel or the arnica.

My belly button hurts too... especially when this little squirt has her butt pushed up against it.

Do all belly buttons "pop"? Mine doesn't look like it's going to anytime soon, if at all... It just seems to be getting wider.

My bb is totally popped out. It has popped out for all my pregnancies, I guess a little earlier each time. I was wondering if maybe it's because it's been popped out for so long!

belly bands are for before too - helps keep your pants up! (somewhat anyway, mine are still constantly slipping - argh!).

My belly button has been completely popped out for a few weeks now - much sooner than with dd.

It doesn't hurt though - just feels sensitive - poor thing isn't used to feeling friction I guess!
