Hi all,

Ever since pregnancy I've had an increase in back, knee and foot problems/pain. (related to having relatively lax ligaments and carrying dd around). My physiotherapist and doctor both tell me that it takes about 6 months after breastfeeding stops for ligaments to regain former strength (as the hormone relaxin is still produced during bf). (they're not necessarily implying I should wean though).

dd is over 2 and my body still hurts! Trying my best to heal it as I'd like to get pregnant again. I keep having the niggling thought that my joints might become more stable if I weaned.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Did weaning help?
Thanks
