Laurocerasus is more specific to heart conditions than Carbo Veg, but both symptom pictures could look very similar. A baby needing Laur. might possibly be gasping for breath. Carbo Veg would be indicated much more often. I personally have both on hand during birth.

As far as what works for energy, it depends on what fits your symptoms. I rely on juice and Emergen-C for that. As far as what remedies it might be, there are too many to list in one reply.

Arnica is wonderful. I have heard of some using it during labor for pain. It's primarily used after birth to help your body heal.

I like chlorophyll for iron. It works very quickly.

IF I needed a boost, I would add black strap molasses to my diet, but I like a multifaceted approach. I also use alfalfa and nettles and do lots of greens, juiced or in salads (for the chlorophyll), cook in an iron pan, etc. etc.

This gives a brief explanation for why chlorophyll works to boost hematocrit levels. http://gentlebirth.org/archives/nutr...ml#Chlorophyll

I know squat about homeopathy.
