There are presently 5 people living in this house, all with individual eating preferences. I would like this home to be completely organic friendly, healthy eating friendly. The organic food isn't a problem, it's food such as white bread, white pasta and convienence foods that other people seem to like. To be honest, we cannot afford to buy wholemeal pasta and bread and separately from white pasta and bread and the like on a regular basis. BUT, I do want my son to be raised in a environment of healthy eating... so how do I implement these changes without causing a war to erupt?

Life will be so much simplier when my son and I move into our own place *sigh*

First of all, just FYI, it's a "regimen," not a "regime."

If you and your son are moving out, why not feed yourself and your son however you wish, and let the others fend for themselves? You can always buy the whole-grain stuff and let other people buy their convenience foods if they must have them (I'm assuming these are adults? if they are your children, you have some say in what they eat and what you keep in the house for them to eat).

Otherwise, why not try making your own bread and pasta?

HTH. Good luck!
