My diapers are making their way to my doorstep this week and now I'm wondering what I need to do. How do I get my diapers ready? What do I need to have set up to start CD'ing?

I have UBIPF's on the way, Bummi's Whisper Wraps, Proraps, Mutts AIOs and fitteds, and an Ecobaby OS. I live in an apartment so I'd really rather not have to use the shared washing machines like 5 times cuz I'd have to pay $3.00 for each wash and dry. But I understand that the snaps on some of these can't be boiled. So what CAN be boiled and what is the whole process of boiling? And how do I know my dipes are ready? Do I have to do anything w the covers? What about my mutts and ecobaby?

How do I make my apartment CD friendly? I'm getting one of those handspray thingees that attach to the toilet also. I forgot to get a wetbag
: altho I do have a diaper pail I can use from when I was using sposies. My sink in the bathroom is too small for diaper changing so I have to change him elsewhere. I wish I knew someone around here who could just come over and help me for a day!

I'm getting one of those Laundry Alternative washers but it will probably be here a few days after my dipes get here.

Umm, i think that's all my questions for now

I have always washed my new diapers 3 times, dryed between washes, to break them in. Do you know anyone that would let you use their washer for their breaking in? I dont have any experience trying to boil them beforehand.

I just moved here to CT so I really don't know anyone. I wouldn't even mind spending the money but having to go up and down ( no elevator ) and down the street five times w/ an infant to get to the laundry room is not really appealing to me
